berilserbes+ architects was founded in 2010 to pursue contemporary ideas for architecture and urban design.

berilserbes+ aims to dematerialize every project as a gathering presence, to question every parameter, and to find the right answers collaboratively while being open to different disciplines and constantly seeking new perspectives.

An awarded architect, Beril Serbes founded her office after winning the Selimiye Mosque Environs Urban Design Project Competition with her design of the urban site of Selimiye Mosque, the masterpiece of the flagship Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan. 

During her time in university, Beril Serbes received several awards and honors, developing a variety of projects for international workshops at European institutions such as the École D'Architecture de Lille, France; Institude of Architectural Sciences Hogheschool Antwerpen, Belgium; and Sint Lucas Brussel Wettenschappen en Kunst, Brussels, Belgium. She was awarded first rank honors for her Graduation Project in Politecnico di Milano.

After university, Beril Serbes joined Emre Arolat Architects, the most awarded architecture office in Turkey, where she worked on cultural, industrial, office, retail, leisure, and sports projects.

Beril Serbes has participated in various national and international architectural competitions, symposiums, and publications. Her work includes prize-winning projects such as the Basaksehir Golet Mevkii Urban Design Competition, Polimeks Industrial Regeneration Project Competition, Fethiye Shopping Mall and Public Center Competition, and Prosteel Dense Housing Design Competition.

Currently, berilserbes+ architects is producing projects alongside Architect Fulya Eliyatkin, Architect Neslihan Avsarligil, Architect Pınar Gülpınar, Landscape Architect Nilüfer Çaliskan and Architect Nese Yavuz. Additionaly, Beril Serbes is a member of juries and speaker in several universities.
